Dear all,

Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith an Advisory issued by Hon’ble Collector, Dadra & Nagar Haveli on dated 27/03/2021 regarding precautionary measures during celebration of Holi.

The points of the advisory are as under:

  • No Festivity Events in Containment Zones shall be allowed. Festivity events shall be permitted only outside Containment Zones subject to strict enforcement for SOP’s as laid down.
  • Celebration of any festival i.e. Holi in public places is strictly prohibited
  • Permission for any event, gatherings, congregation for Holika Dahan is mandatory.
  • People are requested to avoid going to the public places for religious activities and try to do the same near their respective houses.
  • Use of Wearing of Face Masks, maintaining Social Distancing and use of Hand Sanitizers is mandatory.
  • The practice of group bathing in water can increase the risk of COVID-19 transmission and hence bathing in water bodies shall be prohibited. No musical and cultural programmes to be planned near the water bodies, to avoid overcrowding at such places.
  • Persons above 60 year of age, children below 15 years and other persons with co-morbidities, pregnant women, and symptomatic persons are advised to stay at home.
  • People are requested to cooperate with the volunteers / Corona Warriors/ Police Personnel stationed at the above mentioned places.
  • Spitting at any public place will be punishable as prescribed by the State/ UT Authority in accordance with its laws, rules or regulations.
  • Guidelines issued by the UT Administration vide Circular No. DMHS/COVID19/2020/324 dtd. 25/03/2021 shall be followed in letter and spirit.
