Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith Letter issued by the Office of the Assistant Apprenticeship Advisor/ Principal, Govt. Industrial Training Institute, Silvassa on dated 22/07/2021.
As per clause no 4(i) & 4(ii) of Apprenticeship rules, 2019 published in the Gazette of India dated 25-09-2019, all the industries are directed to implement the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) 2015 under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 in their organizations. Under the said provision of Rule, it is obligatory for all industrial establishments having thirty or more workers to engage apprentices in a band of 2.5% to 15% of the total strength of the establishment/ industry (including contractual employees).
