Appeal from Rogi Kalyan Samiti to sponsor for Dialysis
Dear all,
Your association is in receipt of an appeal letter No.RKS/VBCH/2015/412, dtd:14/04/2015 from Dr. V.K Das, Member Secretary, Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS), Shri Vinoba Bhave Civil Hospital, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Silvassa. The scanned copy of the said letter is attached herewith for your perusal.
As we all know that cases of kidney failure in the territory of DNH has significantly increase and we know that for survival the patient has to undergo dialysis at regular interval. Fortunately Bhagirathmal Jiwrajka Dialysis Centre has been established and is providing facility of dialysis to the kidney patient of these area and its boon to the citizens of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. In these dialysis centre 5600 dialysis have been done from the date of inception till now in which almost 90% of the patients have availed free. Apart from dialysis other expenses for consumables and medicine, the patient has to spend rupees 1500 approximate for every dialysis. Normally patient require minimum 12 cycles of dialysis in month ,which cost him approximate Rs,20,000 for every month. For the Middle income and lower income patient it is not possible to pay Rs.20,000 per month for the dialysis.
Considering the difficulty of kidney patient of lower and middle income group, the Rogi Kalyan Samiti has worked out a scheme to help such needy patient, were in industries and upper income group people are appealed to sponsor such needy person by sponsoring the expenses of dialysis so that needy kidney patient can get some financial relief. Accordingly, Vide the appeal letter it is appealed to the colleague industries of Dadra and Nagar Haveli to Voluntarily come forward and sponsor for Dialysis, and helped the needy kidney patient as per the scheme worked out by Governing Body of RKS in its meeting dated 05/06/2014.
As this is a appeal for a very noble cause, we appeal to our fellow colleague industries to come forward voluntary and generously donate/sponsor for Dialysis to needy kidney patient by giving donation by cheque in the name of Rogi Kalyan Samiti, Silvassa and handover the cheque in the office of Rogi Kalyan Samiti, 1st Floor, Accounts Section (RKS), office of the Directorate, Medical & Health Services, DNH or you may contact in the telephone number 0260-2642940, ext. no. 108, Shri Sohail Parmar for collect the cheque from the donor.
