Awareness session on Zero Defect, Zero Effect

SIMA is pleased to inform you that, Federation of Industries Associations, Silvassa shall hold an awareness session on “Zero Defect, Zero Effect” on 04.10.16 at Conference Hall of Danudyog Sahakari Sangh, Piparia, Silvassa from 04:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
Zero Defect is part of Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Make in India programme. It envisages that manufacturing should be managed in a way that there is no re-work, no waste, minimum inventory, higher productivity, timely delivery, no customer complaints and no adverse impact on environment.
This all is achieved by lean management, which is sponsored by Government of India by a very high subsidy based on cluster approach.
The talk is an intro of GOI’s lean management promotion programme. It would highlight as how MSMEs of our UT can take advantage of this initiative.
Speaker is Mr. S S Roy, who has wide industry exposure in addition to his M. Tech. degree from IIT, Delhi. His brief profile is attached.
