CBIC has extended the refund fortnight till June 16 for fast-track clearance

As per Trade Notice No. 08/2018 dated 29.05.2018 issued by Ms. Reshma Lakhani, Hon’ble Commissioner, Central GST Commissionerate, Daman, it was informed that Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC), New Delhi is observing “Special Refund Fortnight” from 31.05.2018 to 14.06.2018, wherein the CGST & Central Excise Commissionerate Daman will clear all pending GST Refund applications received on or before 30.04.2018.
We are pleased to inform you that, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has extended the refund fortnight for fast-track clearance of pending dues to exporters by two days till June 16.
All exporters whose refunds have been held up on account of short payment are required to make the payment of IGST equal to short payment and follow the instruction of Circular No. 12/2018-Customs 29/05/2018.
