Dear all,
Your association SIMA is in receipt of Circular No: MH/Bandra/HRM-I/156, dated 19.09.2019 by EPFO. The scanned copy is enclosed herewith.
As per the Circular it is found that name change correction is being received through joint declaration despite the fact that employer is having this facility based on Aadhaar is unified portal. It is hereby directed that all cases of joint declaration to be stopped & employer may be directed to update the data from their unified portal where UAN can be linked with Aadhaar duly authenticating name, date of birth & gender of the employee.
