Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith an Office Memorandum No.11/01/96-06/GA/Holiday/III/2020-21/351, dated 12/04/2021, issued by Office of the collector, Collectorate Moti Daman, U.T. Administration of DNH and DD.
Vide the Office Memorandum, it has been decided to declare 14th April 2021 (Wednesday) as a Public Holiday on account of the birthday of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, for all the Government Offices, Semi-Government Offices, Local Bodies, Commercial Banks, Industrial Establishments and Public Sector Undertakings in the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
The above holiday is also be notified in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (26 of 1831).
