Disposal of Hazardous Waste
Dear all,
Our association SIMA, is in receipt of Circular no PCC/DDD/Co-Proceeding in Cement Kiln/12-13/118 dated 29.04.2015 from Member Secretary Pollution Control Committee, DD & DNH, Daman. The scanned copy of the Circular is attached herewith.
By the said circular it is informed to the associations that, many units generating hazardous waste are not disposing their waste at common TSDF i.e. M/s. Gujarat Enviro Protection Infrastructure Ltd., Mota Randha, DNH. It is also observed by PCC that, the units are not submitting the manifest to the office of PCC.
So all the collegues industries are hereby requested to disposed off the waste to common TSDF and submit the copy of hazardous waste manifest in Form no. 13, for the quantity of waste given to TSDF since last renewal to the office of PCC.
