D.O. Letter regarding the minimum stipulated period between the 2 doses of COVISHIELD vaccine.
Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a D.O. No. 1940407/2020/Imm, dated 16/05/2021, issued by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare Nirman Bhavan, New Delhi, Government of India.
With reference to the D.O. No. 1940407/2020/Imm, dated 13th May 2021, vide which the recommendations of the NEGVAC and their acceptance, regarding the minimum stipulated period of 12 to 16 weeks after 1 dose, for the 2nd dose of COVISHIELD vaccine, was communicated. The requisite changes have now been done in the COWIN portal. As a result -
1. Further online or on-site appointments will not be possible if the period after 1st dose date for a beneficiary is less than 84 days.
