Electricity charges of Express Feeder Line on the basis of meter reading at sub-station end
Dear all,
Your association had received complaint from many HT consumers having express feeder line. It was brought to the notice of SIMA that, DNHPDCL is charging the electricity bill for the unit consume by them as per meter installed at sub-station end. As per earlier practice, DNHPDCL was charging the energy charges considering the unit consume at consumer end. As per the provision the bill should be raised considering the unit consume at consumer end and not as per meter at sub-station end.
To discuss the matter at length a meeting was convened on 2nd November 2017 by FIA, Silvassa and it was decided that, all such consumer shall file a complaint to DNHPDCL and resolve the issue. For this the FIA, Silvassa has prepared a draft letter and it is hereby requested to all such consumer to file the complaint as per the draft attached herewith and mark a copy to FIA, Silvassa. On receipt of the complaint, Federation will take this matter with DNHPDCL and if required shall approach to the appropriate forum for redressal of the issue.
So, you are requested to file the complaint at the earliest and mark the copy your association and/or FIA, Silvassa to enable us to take appropriate action. The copy of letter of Federation is also enclosed herewith for your ready reference.
