Electricity Supply Code Regulations, 2018 issued by JERC for the State of Goa and UTs

Your Association SIMA is forwarding herewith the Electricity Supply Code Regulations, 2018 issued by Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for the State of Goa and UTs.
On the strong representation of SIMA and FIA, Hon'ble Commission was convinced and has modified the Supply Code and revised Supply Code 2018 has been finalized and accordingly now as per 5.134 of the revised Supply Code 2018 the security deposit in form of FDs shall also be accepted by the licensee(DNHPDCL).
Hon'ble Commission has also acceded our request and in revised Supply Code 2018 it is clarified that, in case where any consumer himself is undertaking any electrical installation work and install any infrastructure facility at his own cost, then as per provision of the revised Supply Code 2018 5.16, the licensee shall charge supervision charge at 15% on labour component only.
There are numbers of other modifications inserted in the revised Supply Code 2018 and all the colleague industries are requested to go through the final Supply Code 2018 for detail information.
