Hearing of ARR for the period FY 2016-17 & Hearing of Petition No. 189/2016 filed by associations
Dear all,
Vide our earlier mail dated 20.01.2016, it was informed that, DNHPDCL has filed the "Truing up for FY 2014-15, Review of FY 2015-16, ARR for Multi Year Tariff Determination for Control Period FY 2016-17 to FY 2018-19" vide Petition No. 193 of 2016 before Hon'ble Joint Electricity Regulation Commission, Gurgaon for its approval.
Honl. JERC has already invited the suggestion/objections from the consumers. It is learnt that, the said Petition No.193 is now kept for Public Hearing on 19th February 2016 at Silvassa, wherein the suggestions/objections filled by consumers shall be heard by Honl. JERC in respect of the said petition No.193/2016.
From SIMA, along with the email dated 20.01.2016, the copy of the petition No.193/2016 filled by DNHPDCL for approval of Honl. JERC was sent for your information and with request to submit your suggestions /objections.
As all the associations have jointly started the exercise to file the objections/suggestions before Hon'ble JERC, therefore it is requested to study the Petition filled by DNHPDCL and send your valuable suggestions/objections to any association, so that all such objection/suggestion can be compiled and represented jointly.
On the other issue of illegal recovery of FPPCA pertaining to the period of April 2013 to March 2015 by DNHPDCL it is to inform that.
All the three associations of Dadra & Nagar Haveli has jointly filled a Petition No. 189/2016 before Hon'ble JERC, whereby requesting Hon'ble JERC to direct the DNHPDCL respondent not levy the additional FPPCA pertaining to period between April 2012 to March 2015 as it is in violence to the FPPCA formula notified by Hon'ble JERC.
During the hearing of Petition 189/2016, as an interim relief Hon'ble JERC stayed the levy of additional FPPCA pertaining to the period of April 2013 to March 2015.
Even the Respondent DNHPDCL has submitted that, said additional FPPCA will not be recovered from the consumer as per the interim relief order of Hon'ble JERC.
But the respondent i.e. DNHPDCL in violation to the commission order, has levied additional FPPCA with respect to the period between April 2012 to March 2015 @ 41 paise per unit under a different head namely "FPPCA charge for HT".
The said violation by DNHPDCL has been brought to the notice of Hon'ble Commission and now the Hon'ble JERC has fixed the hearing in the matter of said Petition 189/2016 on 19.02.2016 at Silvassa.
So all the industries colleagues are requested to pay the electric bill for January 2015-16 under protest wherein DNHPDCL has illegally added the additional FPPCA under head "FPPCA charge for HT".
