Illegal and unjustified determination of FPPCA by DNH Power Distribution Corporation Ltd

This is to inform you that, Federation of Industries Associations, Silvassa consists of Silvassa Industries & Manufacturer Association, DNH Industries Association and Silvassa Industries Association has moved an application before the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission regarding illegal/unjustified determination of FPPCA by DNH Power Distribution Corporation Ltd and recovery of unjustified amount in form of FPPCA from Non open access consumers during the Quarter Oct-Dec 2016. The scanned copy of the representation is enclosed herewith.
DNHPDCL has determined and imposed FPPCA charges Rs. 1.30 Paise per unit for the quarter Oct-Dec 2016 from Non-open Access consumer, which is completely in violation of regulations prescribed by the Hon’ble JERC. It is estimated that about 100 crore have wrongly recovered by the distribution licensee from the consumer.
Hence, in this matter Federation of Industries Associations, Silvassa has requested Hon’ble JERC to investigate and direct the DNHPDCL to correct the computations and refund the excess recovery made on account of wrongly determined FPPCA for the above quarter and also restrain them not to repeat such wrong computations in future.
