Long Term Electricity Demand Forecasting.
Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Projection of “Long Term Electricity Demand Forecasting” prepared by Central Electricity Authority (CEA).
Central Electricity Authority conducts periodic Electricity Power Supply (EPS) of the country to assess the State and Union Territory (UT) - wise/ region wise and all India Electricity Demand on medium term and long term basis. The 19th Electric Power Survey was carried out by CEA by using Partial End User Method (PEUM) for projection of Electricity Demand. An exercise has now been undertaken by CEA in collaboration with KPMG for demand projection of the country by using Econometric Method.
This report contains electricity demand projection in term Energy Requirement and Peak Demand for each State/UT as well the Country.
