New Passport Seva Kendra in DNH & issuance of Identity Card to all employees and workers.

Your association is enclosing herewith the soft copy of the news published in news paper “Asli Azadi”, dated 18/02/2017.
1. New Passport Seva Kendra will open soon in DNH at Silvassa.
We are pleased to inform you that, with vigorous follow up and efforts of Hon’ble Member of Parliament Shri Natubhai G.Patel, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has decided to start a Passport Seva Kendra for Dadra & Nagar Haveli at Silvassa. From the said Passport Seva Kendra, the people of Dadra & Nagar Haveli can apply for issuance of new Passport and renewal of their existing passport. We appreciate and acknowledge the efforts of our Hon’ble Member of Parliament Shri Natubhai G. Patel. Due to opening of Passport Seva Kendra in Dadra & Nagar Haveli, the people will not have to travel up to Mumbai for Passport related issues.
2. To issue Identity Card to the employees and workers by companies and contractors functioning in DNH.
We would like to inform you that, U/s 144 of Cr.P.C. Hon'ble Collector has ordered that all the employees and workers working in companies and under contractors of Dadra & Nagar Haveli should carry valid identity card from 1st February 2017 to 1st April 2017. It is also ordered to the companies and contractors to issue identity card to their workers and employees. The said order of Hon’ble Collector has been published in the news paper Asli Azadi.
