New rules of Railway Ministry
Dear all,
We are pleased to inform you that, the Railway Ministry Government of India, is committed to provide good facilities to passengers and has decided that
- In tatkal tickets in AC coach shall be issued between 10.00 to 11.00 am and for general coach the tickets shall be issued between 11.00 to 12.00 noon. In case of tatkal tickets 50% shall be refunded in case of cancellation of tatkal tickets.
- The number of coaches in Rajdhani and Shatabdi will be increase from June. From 1st July 2016 for Rajdhani and Shatabdi only mobile tickets will be valid and paper less tickets system shall be introduce.
- From 1st July only confirm and RAC tickets will be issued and provisions for the waiting list will be ended.
- The passengers can also avail the facility of "wakeup call destination".
So the rules are accordingly modified and these new rules shall be in force from 1st July 2016. The scanned copy of the new rules is enclosed herewith.
