Dear all,

Your association is in receipt of an order No. DNHPDA/ 104(107) /Checklist/ CP-OC/2014/914, dtd: 21/10/2015 issued by Member Secretary, Dadra & Nagar Haveli Planning and Development Authority (DNHPDA). The scanned copy of the order is attached herewith.

With the efforts of your association SIMA along with other associations of DNH, under the guidance of Shri Natubhai G Patel, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and with constant follow up by Hon’ble Administrator and Senior Bureaucrats finally the Ministry of Environment & Forest issued the Notification on 4th September 2015 by which Eco-Sensitive Zone in Dadra & Nagar Haveli around Wildlife Sanctuary was reduced from 10 KMs to 100 Mtrs. The copy of the said notification was mailed to you on 16th September 2015.

Your association SIMA is pleased to inform you that, to provide a conducive atmosphere for “Ease of Doing Business” and to give boost to the scheme of “Make in India”, the Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli has simplified the procedures to obtain NOC and has ordered that, the public of DNH need not require to the approach Wildlife/Forest Department and the clearance shall be issued by Dadra & Nagar Haveli Planning and Development Authority at the time of granting Construction Permission. In case of borderline case, the same may be forwarded to Forest/Wildlife Department for the confirmation. The copy of the order informing the procedure is attached herewith for your reference.

We would also like to appreciate and acknowledge the efforts and pain taken by  Shri Sandeep Kumarji, Hon’ble Development Commissioner/Chairman DNHPDA, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Shri Sanjay Kumar, Member Secretary, DNHPDA, Senior Officers and Staff of Dadra Nagar Haveli Administration for the initiative.

We welcome such initiatives and simplification of procedures which shall generated the conducive atmosphere in Dadra & Nagar Haveli and that in turn will attract new investment in the territory.
