Notification issued by Ministry of Labour and Employment, Govt. of India
Dear all,
Your association is forwarding herewith a Notification issued by Ministry of Labour and Employment, Govt. of India, New Delhi vide Notification No. GSR 235(E) dated 16/03/2018.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act, 1946 (20 of 1946), the Central Government hereby made the following rules further to amend the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Central Rules, 1946, namely Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Central (Amendment) Rules, 2018.
In the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act, 1946 (20 of 1946), in Schedule, in item 1, for the words “fixed term employment workmen in apparel manufacturing sector;”; the words “fixed term employment” shall be substituted; ………….
