Dear all,

Your association is in receipt of letter no. SLV/VDP/2015-16/54, dated 11.01.2016 from Government of India Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Branch - MSME Development Institute, Masat Industrial Estate, Silvassa - 396230, Dadra & Nagar Haveli. The scanned copy of the same is enclosed herewith.

Govt. of India, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise has Gazette notified the Public Procurement Policy 2012 through which it has been made mandatory for all Central Government Ministries, all Central Government Departments and all Central Public Sector Undertakings to procure minimum 20% of their annual procurement (either in form of product of service) from Micro, Small Enterprises from 1st April 2015 onwards. So, all Ministries, all Central Government Departments and all Central Public Sector Undertakings are looking for reliable Micro & Small Enterprises as their vendors. Similarly, there are about 26(Twenty Six) Million MSME's producing more than 6000 items in the country, right from paper pin to high end spares like components required for aerospace applications. The MSME is also providing varieties of services required by its client. But MSME sector is not aware of requirements of Central Government Ministries, Central Govt. Departments, Central Public Sector Undertakings, their purchase process and vendor registration formalities, etc. and hence it can't expand its market.

MSME-DI, Silvassa is organizing one day State Level Vendor Development Programme to bring the central PSU (Buyer) and MSME (Sellers) on common platform and to create awareness of Public Procurement Policy 2012 (a brief note on PPP-2012 is enclosed in the attachment). The Programme is proposed to organize on 27.01.2016 in the Conference Hall of Rural Welfare Foundation, 'F' Block, ITI Campus, Silvassa at 10.00 A.M. with about expected 50 nos. entrepreneurs a pre-requisite. The programme will consist of inaugural function followed by technical session.

So, all the MSMEs who are desired to get their units registered as vendor with all Central Government Ministries, all Central Government Departments and all Central Public Sector Undertakings are requested to attend the programme for their own benefit.

So, all MSMEs are requested to attend the programme positively and register their units as approved vendor to various buyers as mentioned above.

Thanking you,
With regards,

For Silvassa Industries & Manufacturers Association

Narendra Trivedi,
Secretary
