Online GST Provisional Registration

As you all know that, process of obtaining GST Provisional Registration online has been already started in our Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli from 14th November 2016. As per the directives of Govt. of India, the local VAT Department will give ID and Password to the dealer so that they can apply for online GST Provisional Registration by visiting the website of local VAT Department.
So, all the members who are in VAT regime have to obtain this GST Provisional Registration by filing the various documents and by furnishing the requisite detail information in the prescribed form online. To give the brief idea of how to file the registration form for obtaining the GST Provisional Registration, SIMA is forwarding herewith the presentation of Shri Nilesh Dedhia, CA which shall illustrate the procedure for online GST Registration. Though the presentation in respect GST Provisional Registration for the dealers of Maharashtra but it will give some idea to the dealers of Dadra & Nagar Haveli for obtaining GST Provisional Registration in VAT Department, Dadra & Nagar Haveli. In mean time, the VAT Department, Dadra & Nagar Haveli has issued a circular No. DC(VAT)/GST/Part-III/2274, dtd: 25.11.2016. The copy of the said circular is enclosed herewith. It is informed to all the Registered Dealers that, the department is issuing Provisional ID and Password for GST Registration. And accordingly all the Registered Dealers are requested to obtain the Provisional ID and Password from VAT Department, Dadra & Nagar Haveli on or before 30th November 2016. The Registered Dealer are requested to address a letter with authorized signatory stamp to the department for providing Provisional ID and Password.
The VAT Department, Dadra & Nagar Haveli has assured to asist the dealers in case of any clarification and guidance for obtaining the GST Provisional registration.
So, all the dealers who are operating their business, industries and other activities have to obtain the GST Provisional Registration online at the earliest.
