The recent reforms in agri-marketing announced by the government are expected to transform Indian agriculture by allowing more marketing freedom for growers and buyers alike. The reforms will boost food processing, especially in the SME sector, leading to the Prime Minister’s vision of Aatmnirbhar Bharat or ‘Self-reliant’ India.
