Open House organized for clearance of pending applications in PCC and DNHPDCL by DNH Administration
Dear all,
Considering the representation of Industries of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Shri Prafulbhai Patel, Hon’ble Administrator of DD & DNH, directed Pollution Control Committee and DNHPDCL to hold Open House and clear all the pending applications/files of their department on the spot.
As per the directive of Hon’ble Administrator, an open house was held on dtd.25.02.2017 at Secretariat, Silvassa, where Hon’ble Shri J.B.Singh Advisor to Hon’ble Administrator, Hon’ble Development Commissioner Shri Umesh Tyagi, Chief Conservator of Forest Shri O.V.R Reddy, Conservator of Forest Shri Devendra Dalai and Superintendent Engineer, DNHPDCL Shri H.M. Patel conducted the Open House. Number of industries representatives whose cases were pending also remain present.
During the open house, out of old pending 25 cases, PCC cleared 23 applications on the spot and 2 were kept pending for want of some detailed information.
The representatives of Federation of Industries Associations, Silvassa Shri Chandrakant M. Parekh and Dr. R.B.Shelke, appreciated the initiative of Shri Prafulbhai Patel, Hon’ble Administrator for organising such fruitful Open House and expressed their gratitude to Hon’ble Administrator for such initiative to generate a conducive atmosphere. They also thanked Hon’ble Shri J.B.Singh, Advisor to Hon’ble Administrator, Shri Umesh Tyagi Hon’ble Development Commissioner, Shri O.V.R Reddy, Chief Conservator of Forest, Shri Devendra Dalai Conservator of Forest and Shri H.M.Patel Superintendent Engineer, for their sincere efforts and support in organizing successful Open House.
Hon’ble J.B.Singh, Advisor to Hon’ble Administrator also assured that, all the pending applications with PCC shall be cleared within 15 days which shall provide transparency in the functioning of the Administration.
On behalf of SIMA, all the colleagues industries are hereby requested to approach PCC and DNHPDCL to get their pending application cleared spontaneously.
During the open house it was also suggested that, Hon’ble Administrator and key Bureaucrats Officers should organize such Open Houses periodically for other concerned departments, which shall provide an ease of doing business to the industrial sectors and with this new approach of the Administration we shall be able to attract more investment in Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
