Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith an Order No. ADM/DM/COVID-19/355/2020/606, dated 16.03.2020 issued by District Collectorate, Silvassa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli District Disaster Management Authority, UT Administration of DNH & DD.
Vide the Order, the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Government of India enhanced the preparedness and containment of novel Coronavirus (COBID-19), also notified it as a disaster to assist SDRF.
Under section 34 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 within the powers and functions of Authority in event of any threatening disaster situation or disaster to assist, protect or providing relief to the community: towards containment and prevention of transmission of COVID-19 in the Dadra and Nagar Haveli District, is hereby ordered that:-
1. No Social, Religious, Educational, Cultural, Sporting or Recreational events, Academic activities shall be held at any Public/Community/religious or private place/hotel premises involving a mass gathering till 31st March 2020 in Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
2. All classes in Schools, Colleges, Tuition/Coaching classes, Anganwadi centres, Mini Anganwadi centres, Playgroups both Government, Private, Aided institutions shall remain suspended till 31st March 2020. The teaching and non-teaching staff will continue to attend their duties as given by the Department of Education.
3. All offices, Workplace both government and private shall provide sanitizers at entry points to enable employees/visitors to disinfect their hands frequently and on a daily basis.......... TO VIEW THE ORDER PLEASE CLICK HERE.
