Order regarding the detailed assessment of the damages caused by the Tauktae Cyclone.
Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith Order No. ADM/DM/CYCLONE-Tauktae/393/2021/1174, dated 21/05/2021, issued by District Collectorate, Silvassa, Dadra Nagar Haveli District Disaster Management Authority, UT Administration of DNH andDD.
Vide the order, Dadra and Nagar Haveli received very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall due to "TAUKTAE Cyclone on 17/5/2021 & 18/05/2021, causing water inundation, tree uprooting and falling of electric supply poles affecting households at multiple locations of Dadra & Nagar Haveli,
It is imperative that a detailed assessment of the damage is to be done in the panchayats/areas strictly as per the norms of the assistance eligible under the State Disaster Response Funds (SDRF) and National Disaster Response Funds (NDRF). Therefore, it is required that the concerned departments shall collect the information from people seeking assistance due to cyclone.
