PROPOSAL FOR SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT AS PER SWM RULES 2016 BY ORM GREEN.
Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith the Proposal received from ORM Green company. In the proposal, they have offered their services for Solid Waste Management as per SWM Rules 2016. As we all know that, Administration of Union Territory Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Urban Development Department has published draft bye-laws on the guideline of model draft bye-laws published by Ministry of Urban Development Govt. of India. Due to this Bye-laws Bulk Waste Generators are bound to Comply the regulations under Solid Waste Management 2016. Silvassa Municipal Council has further defined the list of Bulk Waste Generators as per order No. SMC/CO/SBM/2016/60/1791 dated 05/07/2018.
It is mandatory for BWG to process and dispose of the waste generated in their premises and are bound to comply with the Bye-Laws.
The list of Bulk Waste Generators is defined under bye-law no. 3.11 of DNH, Silvassa Municipal Council (SMC) Solid Waste (Handling and Management) bye-laws, 2018 and subsequent order by SMC is provided in attachment with this proposal.
The Bulk Waste Generator (BWG) category, may be assigned the job for handling and processing of solid waste to the approved agencies. The ORM Green is one of the approved agency who is having facilities to collect, transportation & process the Solid Waste in scientific and Eco-friendly manner.
ORM Green shall deploy their resources for collection, transportation, processing and management of the waste as per the SWM Rules 2016. A certificate shall be issued to the BWG for compliance of SWM Rules 2016 for non-hazardous, Non-C&D waste management. ORM Green shall implement plants and equipment for management of such waste at the specified site for efficient and compliant management of waste to mitigate the worst environmental impact of the waste.
ORM Green has submitted the proposal for the handling of Solid Waste from the industries who become the member and pay the requisite charges as mentioned here in under.
The standard minimum cost for the project proposed for the industry is:

In cases where the quantity of waste high for some industries, a separate rate shall be proposed post inspection of the premise and analysis of quality and quantity of waste material.
For C&D waste material, a separate transportation arrangement is provided. The cost for the C&D waste management shall be
Rs. 2000/- per trip or Rs. 3800/- per MT whichever is higher.
