Dear all, 

We are in receipt of letter no DIC/25(284)/2014/809 dated 31.08.2015 from GMDIC, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Silvassa.

It is informed by Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Dept of Economic Affairs that, Government of Japan has invited Proposals for Technical Cooperation Programmes under their Technical Cooperation Programmes for the fiscal year 2016. The scanned copy of circular No.4/8/2015-Japan.II is enclosed herewith for your reference.

JICA carries out project type Technical Cooperation through which they provide integrated assistance, from planning and implementation to evaluation, by combing three basic forms of cooperation assistance in a cooperation assistance in a cooperation package: (1) technical training in Japan, (2) dispatch of experts, and (3) provision of machinery and equipments. The programme involves transfer of Japan's experience, technical know-how and expertise to counterpart personnel in recipient countries as a single project within a desirable duration whether it is short or long. The entire cost for the above activities is funded by the Government of Japan and implementation is facilitated by JICA.

The interested Industrial colleagues of DNH are requested to prepare proposals to avail of the above offer of Government of Japan and send proposals in triplicate in the prescribed proforma and the screening format (copies enclosed) with the approval of Joint Secretary concern so as to ensure it reaches the Ministry of Finance Department of Economic Affairs, BC division, (Japan) latest by 10.08.2015.
