Proposal to create new District Panchayat Wards and Panchayat Areas

A Gazette Notification has been published by Hon'ble Collector and Secretary Panchayat Shri G.S. Meena, IAS on 31st December2014. Vide the said Gazette it is informed that, considering the new census-2011 the population of Dadra & Nagar Haveli has significantly increased and so, delimitation of existing 11 District Panchayat Wards, Panchayat Area is to be done. Accordingly in public interest DNH Administration has proposed to create 20 District Pachayat Wards and Panchayat areas.
The said notification Gazette is enclosed herewith, you are requested to go though the attachment in which the list of proposed District Panchayat Wards and Panchayat areas are mentioned. The Administration has invited the public suggestions and objections in respect of the said proposal for new District Panchayat Wards and Panchayat Areas. The public has been asked to file their suggestions and objections in respect of the said Gazette before Hon'ble Collector / Secretary Panchayat, Dadra and Nagar Haveli at Collectorate, Silvassa during the office hours on any working day between 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM but not later than the 30th January, 2015.
So, you are requested to go through the proposed District Panchayat Wards and Panchayat areas and if required you can also file your suggestions/objections before the appropriate authority.
