Regarding use of alternate stabilizer instead of Lead in manufacturing of Polyvinyl Chloride pipes

Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Circular dated 15.02.2018 issued by Member Secretary, Pollution Control Committee, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Silvassa.
Vide the Circular, it is informed that, in pursuance to the judgment dated 25th May 2017 passed by Hon'ble National Green Tribunal (NGT), Principal Bench, New Delhi in the matter of Jan Sahyog Manch Vs Union of India & Others, all the industrial units involved in manufacturing of Polyvinyl Chloride pipes are hereby directed to use alternate stabilizer instead of Lead.
SIMA appeals all the concerned industries to go through the circular and adhere the direction.
