Representation on Deemed Extension of consent to establish under the Environment Act 1986 by FIA.
Dear all,
This is to inform you that, Federation of Industries Association (FIA), Silvassa and its Constituent Associations SIMA, SIA & DNHIA, has submitted a representation to the Secretary - Environment, UT Administration of DNH & DD, Daman.
FIA has submitted a representation in respect of Deemed Extension of consent to establish under the Environment Act, 1986.
In the representation, it is submitted that due to prevailing pandemic situation in the country and unprecedented downfall in the Indian economy, the industries could not commence the work of the new establishment and expansion of the existing plant, in the prescribed time for which Pollution Control Committee, Daman, had granted the consent to establish.
So, FIA and its constituent Associations SIMA, SIA & DNHIA have requested that all the consents to establish, operate which expired in April-20 and scheduled to expire in the next one year should be extended with deeming effect at least up to March-23.
