Representation to Hon.Secretary Power relating to Security Deposit
Dear all,
Your association SIMA has received representations from some of the members that, the deposit laying with the department/DNHPDCL is not refunded since one and half year, in spite of the fact that, they have surrendered the connections, settled their dues and meter are either removed or transferred in the name of new occupant.
Recently Department has raised demand from consumer for furnishing additional security in line of provision of the guidelines of the JERC. Due to this the consumers are facing hardship to furnish the additional security in prescribed time limit.
Your association SIMA has taken up the matter and represented to Hon’ble Secretary Power, the difficulties and problem faced by the fellow industries. The scan copy of the letter addressed to Hon’ble Secretary Power dated: 26/09/2014 is attached herewith for your kind information.
Apart from this issue, if any industry or group of similar industries are facing any problem, please inform your association SIMA to enable the association to take up the issues with appropriate authority.
