Representatives of Industries Associations met Shri Prafulbhai Patel, Honl. Administrator, DNH

On 10th January 2017, representatives of Silvassa Industries and Manufacturers Association along with representatives of Silvassa Industries Association and DNH Industries Association under the banner of Federation of Industries Associations, Silvassa met Hon’ble Administrator, DD and DNH Shri Prafulbhai Patel at Secretariat Silvassa and welcomed on behalf of the industries of this UT.
SIMA pleased to inform you, that Shri Prafulbhai Patel acknowledged the role of industries in socio economic development of the people of this area. Hon’ble Administrator conveyed that, he is very keen to provide a very conducive atmosphere to attract more investments in industrial sector for further development of this region. He also said that, he will support and cooperate the industries to flourish and expand, so that more job opportunities are created for the youth. He added that, industries can approach him any time for redressal of any problems and issues faced by them. He emphasized to implement the programs and schemes of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji “Make in India”, “Ease of Doing Business”, “Cashless India” & “Swatch Bharat” in its true letter and spirit in the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
He appealed to the industries functioning in this UT to shoulder the responsibility under CSR and voluntarily come forward for the upliftment of the lives of the resident of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. He also stressed that, the industries should preserve the environment of this beautiful territory by stopping the emission of any polluted water and air. He has requested the representatives of industries association that industries of Dadra & Nagar Haveli should refrain them from any act which will have negative impact on environment.
Shri Prafulbhai Patel also stressed that, interest of industries and particularly MSMEs shall be protected by the administration and the administration shall also ensure that industries of this area get level play field to compete in global market.
With reference to Cashless India, Shri Prafulbhai Patel conveyed that all the industrial workers and employees should be paid salaries and wages by e-route and the employer should ensure that his workers and employees are well conversant with e-payments like debit card, net banking, e-wallets and other such applications and if required proper training to use such applications should be given so that all the workers and employees use these applications smoothly.
