Revised welfare Scheme of Building and Other Construction Workers.

Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Notification issued by Dr. Apurva Sharma, Deputy Secretary (Labour), Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Silvassa.
In suppression to the Notification dated 03.02.2012 and dated 14.06.2019 the welfare Scheme of Building and Other Construction Worker’s Welfare Board has been revised to streamline the procedure to provide safety, health and welfare measures to the building and other construction workers.
THE HIGHLIGHTS OF NEW WELFARE SCHEMES UNDER THE BUILDING AND OTHER CONSTRUCTION WORKERS (RE & CS) ACT, 1996:
1. Health and Maternity Cover: Rs. 30000/- to Rs. 40000/-.
2. Grant for the purchase of Tools/Protective Gear: Rs 10000/-.
3. Grant of Token Amount for Construction of House: up to Rs. 75000/-.
4. Ex-gratia for Permanent Disability/Chronic Diseases/Surgery/Operation: Rs. 40000/- to Rs. 100000/-.
5. Medical Assistance and Wage Loss.
6. Financial Assistance for education.
7. Financial assistance for Marriage: Rs. 35000/- to Rs. 51000/-.
8. Pension: Rs. 3000/- per month after completion of 60 years.
9. Payment of funeral assistance: Rs. 20000/-.
10. Ex-gratia for Death: up to 400000/-.
11. Insurance Scheme.
12. Skill Development: Minimum Wages for skilled category Rs.S,0OO/- as incentive amount and Bus travelling allowance (Bus-Pass).
13. Self Education.
14. Retirement relief in quitting service.
15. Bus Pass.
16. Promoting Registration.
17. Distribution of Female Menstrual Hygiene Kit.
18. Shram Yogi Prasad Scheme.
