Your association is in receipt of a letter from Deputy Director(Transport) Administration of D&NH.The scanned copy of the same is attached here with.
Vide the Letter No. ADTR/GNL/R.S.Week/2012/18/RTO/2016 they have mentioned about Observance of Road Safety Week from 10th to 16th January 2016. The Ministry has requested to carryout Road Safety Activities as listed in the letter of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways under reference in a befitting manner by involving various concerned agencies including voluntary organization etc. The copy of the letter NO.RT-25029/02/2015-RS dtd on 11th December, 2016 from Joint Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is enclosed herewith for your reference. Slogan of this year’s Road Safety Week as communicated by the Ministry is ”Road Safety - Time for Action".

They have stated that the Road Safety Week is being observed by all the states / UTs as per directives of Govt. Of India Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, New Delhi, every year in the month of January.This year also Road Safety Week is to be observed from 10th to 16th January -2016.
Your are therefore ,requested to give wide publicity to make the road safety week during 10th to 16th January-2016 a success by awareness campaigns.
