Setting up of WiFi Hotspot in DNH under Digital India Programme by Department of IT.

This is to inform you that, the Federation of Industries Associations, Silvassa; in which Silvassa Industries & Manufacturers Association is also associated, has received a letter from Deputy Director (IT), Administration of Dadra Nagar Haveli, Silvasa. The scanned copy of the letter is enclosed herewith.
It is informed that UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli is under process of initiating the setting up of WiFi Hotspot in Dadra & Nagar Haveli under Digital India Programme in co-ordination with BSNL.
The WiFi Hotspot in the UT of DNH will allow citizens to access the internet using laptops, smart phones or other devices.
BSNL has identified 12 important locations and tourists points in Silvassa and Khanvel. The Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli has seek help and support from the industries of Dadra & Nagar Haveli in moving the UT towards Govt of India's vision of Digital India.
So, all the colleague industries are hereby requested to go through the proposal and extend your valuable support by sponsoring the installation of WiFi Hotspot at the key locations in coordination with BSNL.
