Single step procedure for issuing Consolidated Consent and Authorization by PCC, DD and DNH
Dear all,
In line of “Ease of Doing Business” initiative of Govt. of India, Pollution Control Committee Daman Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli is initiated a step towards the Ease of Doing Business.
We are pleased to inform you that, for simpler, faster and enforceable way of Consent /Authorization management, the Pollution Control Committee DD & DNH is going to adopt a single step procedure for issuing Consolidated Consent and Authorization instead of separate Consent to Operate/Renewal under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1947 & the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Hazardous Waste Authorization under Hazardous & Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 respectively.
In this regards, a Circular has issued by the Member Secretary, Pollution Control Committee, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, vide No. 82/MEMSECPCC/2018 dated 31/01/2018. The scanned copy of the same is enclosed herewith for your reference.
Hence, all the general public/colleague industries and hoteliers of UT of DD & DNH are requested to apply for Consolidated Consent and Authorization (CCA)/ Consolidated Consent and Authorization Renewal (CCA Renewal) on www.pccdaman.info using their existing login ID and Password instead of separate application for Consent to Operate / Consent to Renewal and Hazardous Waste Authorization. The procedure for issuing of Consolidated Consent and Authorization has been initiated from the date of issue of this circular and there is no change in fee structure and checklist of documents.
