Step towards facilitation of GST implementation by Tax Payers

Your Association is in receipt of a Trade Notice No. 04/2017-18, Vapi, dtd. 18.07.2017 from Smt. Reshma Lakhani, Hon’ble Commissioner, Central GST Commissionerate, Daman regarding step towards facilitation of GST implementation by Tax payers. The scanned copy of the Trade Notice is attached herewith for your ready reference.
Vide the said Trade Notice, all the GST Tax Payers/ Trade association are informed that the Range Offices/Divisions Offices under this Commissionerate are working as “GST SEVA KENDRA” to facilitate the Tax Payers for smooth implementation of GST. If the Tax Payers faces any difficulties or need any advice they may immediately contact the “GST SEVA KENDRA” in the Ranges and Divisions.
As an additional measure, contact numbers of officers of the level the Joint/Additional Commissioner in-charge of the Divisions are also circulated, which is forwarded herewith. Tax payers may get in touch with them for any kind of assistance or to report any issues that they may be facing towards implementation of GST.
If any issues is not addressed to the satisfication of the Tax Payers and if they require intervention of the Commissioner, the Tax Payers may contact Commissioner on Telephone No. 0260-2460305 or on Mobilie No. 9020757964.
