Strengthening and upgradation of roads in industrial estates under PPP mode

A meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Hon’ble Administrator, DD & DNH with the various officials of Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli on dated 05/01/2017 at Secretariat. In the meeting, Hon’ble Administrator, DD & DNH has directed during the presentation to examine the feasibility of development of road stretches falling in the various industrial estates in UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli by PPP mode.
Your association SIMA is forwarding a letter no. PWD.II/RD/ASW/2017/86 dated 30/01/2017 received from P.W.D. Civil Division No.II (Road), Silvassa regarding strengthening / up-gradation of roads with signage, storm water drains, street lights, utility service trenches, etc. and future services related to road with entrance gate in industrial estate in Dadra Nagar Haveli by PPP mode.
Accordingly it is proposed that 50% share will be contributed by the Government & 50% share to be contributed by the respective Industrial units after observing all the codal formalities.
So, all the colleague industries are requested to go through the attached proposal letter of P.W.D. Civil Division No.II (Road), Silvassa and give your feedback in this matter to enable your association to take the appropriate stand and SIMA can convey the decision to PWD.
