Dear all,

Your association SIMA is forwarding an Office Memorandum no. DC(VAT)/Less Cash/2017/203 dated 04/01/2017 issued by Department of Value Added Tax, Silvassa regarding submission of sales details from dealers of Dadra and Nagar Haveli under DNH VAT Regulation 2005, online. The scanned copy of Office Memorandum is attached herewith.

As provided under Sub section (2) Section 100 of Dadra & Nagar Haveli Value Added Tax Regulations, 2005 “Power to collect Statistics”, the Value Added Tax Department, Dadra & Nagar Haveli hereby requested that all the traders to furnish and submit daily sales details in the attached proforma to the Value Added Tax Department. The same information is required to submit every day to the Collector/District Magistrate, Silvassa Dadra and Nagar Haveli by the department.

Hence all the Traders of  Dadra & Nagar Haveli are requested to co-operate with the staff of the Department  and timely furnish the desired information. The dealers may furnish the daily sales through physical copy of e-mail (in Excel Format) and through telephone details of the current day should be reached to the office concerned latest by 1.00PM of the next day.

The violation of these instructions will be viewed seriously and necessary action as deemed fit will be initiated by the Department against the defaulter including penalty.

The department informed that, if the instructions are not followed or the dealer does not comply with the instructions or fail to supply the information on time then the dealer is liable for penalty action as per prevailing law.
