Dear all,

Your association is forwarding herewith an email received from Director (Industries), Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu regarding suggestion for investment and projects under RAMP Scheme in the UT of DNH & DD.

As per the letter, the Govt. of India has approved a new World Bank supported Central Sector Scheme "Raising and Accelerating MSME performance (RAMP).

The RAMP programme is a programme-for-Results (P for R), with World Bank assistance and part funding by the Government of India. The RAMP programme aims at improving MSME's access to market and credit, strengthening institutions and governance at the Centre and State, improving centre-State linkages and partnerships, addressing issues of delayed payments and greening of MSMEs. RAMP programme seeks to address the generic and Covid related challenges in the MSME sector by way of impact enhancement of existing MSME schemes, especially on the competitiveness front.

This is proposed to be achieved through a Strategic Investment plan (SIP), as per a prescribed template, which would, inter alia include (i) identification of key constraints and gaps in interventions through a diagnostic exercise (ii) finalize the output-outcome milestones with baseline numbers and program goals. (iii) Budgeting these interventions and prioritizing them and (iv) Outreach plan for identification and mobilization of MSMEs.

In view of above, suggestions are invited from Stakeholders for the investments or project which may be implemented to improve and enhance the performance of MSMEs.
