Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith “The Code on Social Security, 2019” Bill No. 375 of 2019 as introduced in Lok Sabha.
The government of India has introduced the Bill to amend and consolidate the laws relating to the social security of the employees and the matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint; and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Code and any reference in any such provision to the commencement of this Code shall be construed as a reference to the coming into force of that provision.
As it is a very important Bill, all the colleague industries are requested to go through the Bill.
