The enhancement in validity of consent to Operate and Renewal in PCC
Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith and attachment of Notification No. PCC/DMN/13 (Part-III)/2014-15/1327, dtd:09/03/15.
As all the fellow industries colleague know that, your association had represented to Hon'ble Administrator, Daman Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli to enhance the validity of the consent to operate for five years. This representation was submitted to the Administration to reduce paper work and to provide ease of business in line of policy of Government of India.
We are pleased to take note that, considering our request, the Notification has been issued by the Administration by which, the validity of Consent to Operate/renewal has been enhanced to five years for Red, Orange, and Green/White category of industries. The fee payable by industries shall accordingly be chargeable proportionately of the fee prescribed in the Notification No. PCC/DMN/13-III/1999-2000, dtd: 03/05/1999.
At the interval of every 2 years, the industry has to submit authenticate certificate informing the Pollution Control Committee that, there is no change in products/process/ production capacity/any other installation etc.
You all industries colleague are requested to go through the notification.
We, members of SIMA and fellow industries, hereby convey our sincere thanks to Shri Ashish Kundraji, Hon'ble Administrator, Daman Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Hon'ble Chairman and Member Secretary, Pollution Control Committee and other key officers of the Administration for taking the initiative to reduce the paper work and a step forward in simplification of procedure. The Administration has implemented the policy of Government of India to provide ease of business in its true letter and sprit.
