Your association is in receipt of a Trade Notice No. 05/2018 dated 11.04.2018 issued by Ms. Reshma Lakhani, Hon’ble Commissioner, Central GST Commissionerate, Daman. The scanned copy of the Trade Notice is enclosed herewith for your ready reference.
Vide the above Trade Notice; Hon’ble Commissioner has forwarded a circular issued by the Central Board of Excise and Customs, New Delhi regarding Setting up of an IT Grievance Redressal Mechanism to address the grievances of taxpayers due to technical glitches on GST Portal. The copy of the Circular is also forwarded herewith.
In this regards, all the taxpayers are requested to make an application to the filed officers or the nodal officers mentioned in the Trade Notice in case of demonstrable technical glitch of identified issue, due to which the due process as envisaged in law could not be completed on the Common Portal. Such applications shall have enclosed evidences as may be needed to establish bonafide attempt on the part of the taxpayers to comply with the due process of law.
