Water Demand and Supply Assessment study in Industries and commercial Establishments of DD and DNH.

Your association SIMA is in receipt of a letter from Shri K. Ravichandran, Secretary ( Industries), Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli vide letter No. DIC/DMN/MISC/2019-20/51 dated 25/10/2019. The scanned copy of the same is enclosed herewith.
As per the letter, it is informed that UT Administration of DD and DNH has instituted a water balance study to assess the water demand and supply/use by various industries, commercial establishments for both manufacturing as well as domestic consumption. This is aimed at optimum use of both surface and ground water resources, sustained supply of water and minimise the wastage of water and over exploration of ground water resources.
In this regard department requested all the colleague industries to provide the details of requirement of water for both manufacturing and domestic consumption.
Therefore all the colleagues are requested to send the details as per given format within 10 days to PCC, DD & DNH.
