Appeal for Donation for purchase of 80,000 Bags to pack free ration under PMGK Anna Yojana.
Dear all,
This is to inform you that, Silvassa Industries and Manufacturers Association (SIMA) and other constituents associations of Federation of Industries Associations (FIA) had appealed for Donation for the purchase of 80,000 (Eighty Thousand) Bags to pack free ration under Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan Anna Yojana(PMGKAY).
In the backdrop of pandemic impact on the life of people, there will be free ration distribution to poor families of DNH under PMGK Anna Yojana. The Administration has desired the industries also to join this noble mission. The ration will be supplied by the UT Administration free of cost, whereas Industries will bear the cost of bags. One bag costs Rs 80/- and the required number of bags is 80,000. Thus, the total expenditure for 80,000 bags will be Rs. 65 Lakh.
Silvassa Industries and Manufacturers Association (SIMA) appeals to the industries to be generous and come forward to share this cost by donating as much as possible. Donations are expected in the denominations of either 1250 or 2500 bags. (i.e. Rs 1,00,000 or Rs 2,00,000/-). It can be done from the CSR fund also. The UT Administration has agreed to issue CSR certificates to the donors. The industries can contribute their donation to "Federation - CSR ", either by cheque or NEFT or RTGS.
