Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Circular No.DNH-SMCENGG(SEW)/08/2019-CO SMC/697 dated 08/03/2022, issued by Silvassa Municipal Council, UT of DNH & DD.
Vide the circular, it is informed that work for the repair, maintenance and cleaning of sewers and septic tanks within the jurisdiction of Silvassa Municipal Council shall only be done as per the compliance of the "Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavenger and Their Rehabilitation Act 2013 (M.S. Act, 2013).
