Dadra & Nagar Haveli Motor Vehicle (Amendment) Rules, 2017 notified by DNH Administration
Dear all,
Your association is forwarding herewith a Notification No. RLA/Regd. Number/96/2017-18/744/RTO/2017 dated 30/11/2017 issued by Transport Department, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Silvassa. The copy of the Notification is enclosed herewith for your information.
Vide the notification, Hon’ble Administrator, DD & DNH has amended the Dadra & Nagar Haveli Motor Vehicle Rules, 1991, in exercise the power conferred by Section 65 and 211 of Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988) and as amended by Act. 54 of 1994, and in suppression of Notification No. ADTr/DNH/Reg. Num/2008/6949 dated 11th May 2011.
As per the Notification, the Amendment of Rule 58A of Dadra & Nagar Haveli Motor Vehicle Rules, 1991 has been carried out. The Rules are framed to assign jumping registration numbers to the applicant of his/her choice on payment of prescribed fees.
