Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Press Conference highlights by FM Nirmala Sitharaman: FM announces 8 major relief measures to boost COVID-affected sectors in the Conference which was held on 28/06/2021, Monday.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a Rs 6.28 lakh crore stimulus package to boost the economy battered by the second wave of Covid infections. The Hon'ble Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made eight announcements related to healthcare, tourism, agriculture, infrastructure, and export, among others.
Health Sector:
* Rs. 50,000 crore Aimed at upscaling medical infrastructure targeting underserved areas.
* Guarantee cover for expansion and new projects related to health/medical infrastructure in cities other than 8 metropolitan cities.
* Guarantee coverage: 50% for expansion & 75% for new projects
