Hon'ble Administrator invited industrial investement from the platform of CII Western Region

As we all are aware that, the Administration of DD and Dadra & Nagar Haveli has tightened its belt to accelerate the industrial growth, under able leadership of Shri Ashish Kundraji, Hon'ble Administrator, DD & DNH. Under the guidance of Hon'ble Administrator, the Administration carried out a vigorous exercise in framing the new Industrial Policy - 2015.
The whole exercise has been done in consultation with experts of the field, interaction with the existing industries, adopting the prevailing guideline in the neighbouring States and with vision to provide very conducive atmosphere in the territory to attract industrial investment and also to provide ease of doing business as per the policy and guideline of Central Government under the mission of "Make in India".
After dynamic exercise, Hon'ble Administrator Shri Ashish Kundraji launched the Industrial Policy-2015, which send a very positive signal to the industrial sector all over country. For this zeal and efforts, the industries of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and people are very much thankful to Shri Ashish Kundraji and the key officials of the Administration.
Hon'ble Administrator Shri Ashish Kundraji moved one step further and in the first time of the history of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, his goodself attended the CII Western Region Annual Meeting 2015 organised in Mumbai on 16th March 2015. In the said august gathering of about 250 renowned industrial houses, Hon'ble Administrator spoke on the first ever Industrial Policy-2015. And his goodself informed that, the aim of the policy is to attract investment to the tune of 5000 Crore in next five years, which will generate about 40,000 jobs. His honor also added that, the UTs aim to achieve an industrial growth of 12%-14%. At the end, his honor also appealed and invited the industries and industrial houses from every corner, to establish their projects in DD and DNH.
