Introducing CapacitySwap - An IL&FS Initiative
Dear All,
As we all are aware that the cost of manufacturing needs to be optimized to enhance the production capacity of the company, there is an initiative launched by IL&FS Group known as CapacitySwap which support the industry in optimizing their cost of manufacturing through a mechanism designed at promoting optimum utilization of spare manufacturing capacities.
CapacitySwap is a technology-based platform providing structured solutions for cost, quality and logistic arbitrage in the manufacturing sector, resulting in increased ROI for all stakeholders.
CapacitySwap provides a platform for exchanging manufacturing capacities to :
- Companies who are looking for expansion, but are finding the long procedures of establishing infrastructure, procuring equipment, environmental and legal clearances etc quite lengthy and tiresome.
- Facilities/factories are not being fully utilized and are experiencing business downtime due to lack of orders.
- Foreign companies and MNCs which are looking to manufacture in India, but want to test the markets first and experience the actual conditions first hand before investing substantially in the establishments in India.
CapacitySwap will bring together these companies and assist them to find the right kind of match. Initially, they have selected five sectors viz. Textiles, Electronics, Engineering, FMCG, and Pharmaceuticals for this initiative which will later encompass other sectors as well.
For further information regarding CapacitySwap please go through the attachment.
Thanking you,
