Letter requesting the Extension of Ban on usage of Single Use Plastic.
Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Letter No. 3425/1/50, dated 10/06/2022, written by Praveen Khandelwal, National Secretary General Confederation of all India Traders, adressing Shri Bhupendra Yadav, Hon'ble Minister for Environment, Government of India New Delhi.
As you all are aware that, the ban on single-use plastic is to be enforced from 1st July 2022. Through the letter Praveen Khandelwal has requested the Hon'ble Minister for Environment to extend the date of the ban on single use of plastic. As sufficient preparation has not been done to provide an equivalent alternative to single-use of plastic and in the view of the mass usage of single-use plastic throughout the country a complete banned will prove much c to the trade and industry.
